On October 6, 2023, HYBE INSIGHT, through its official X (formerly Twitter) account, announced that its famed BTS X JAMES JEAN: SEVEN PHASES EXHIBITION is headed to Manila. Following its successful run in Seoul and Frankfurt, the pioneer exhibition from HYBE INSIGHT is making a comeback and Pearl ARMYs will now have the chance to see it up close without traveling far.
In 2021, renowned artist James Jean joined forces with global music sensation BTS to create a breathtaking collection, aptly titled "Seven Phases," featuring fairy-like characters based on the personalities of BTS members RM (Moonchild), Jin (Narcissus), SUGA (Meowtide), j-hope (Solaria), Jimin (Champignon), V (Violane), and Jung Kook (Cottontail), set in an ethereal garden that speaks no less than "Young Forever."
A fusion of extraordinary talent and artistic creativity, this groundbreaking partnership became the opening salvo of HYBE INSIGHT, HYBE Inc.'s in-house museum that curates art, music, and important memorabilia from the history of Korean music, featuring HYBE Labels' very own artists. This extraordinary exhibition is bound to take visitors on a journey, allowing them to explore the captivating and harmonious synergy between BTS and James Jean.
The exhibition will be held from October 27 to December 3, 2023, on the 4th floor, Building A, SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City. It's the perfect canvas for a dynamic collaboration, where art, music, and culture come together to create an experience like no other.
Aside from the "Seven Phases" collection, the exhibition will also feature BTS Assets, which will include costumes and clothes worn by BTS members, artworks created by the talented members themselves, and other memorabilia from BTS' rich 10-year-long history.
